The New 2018 Honda Accord Hybrid First Drive Review

Honda has been one of the best-selling sedans in the U.S. since its beginning, mainly because of its reputation as being a fun to drive vehicle with fuel-saving qualities. And now, a new line of hybrid vehicles from this brand is being introduced. This new version is described as being a lot lighter than the current edition due to the fact that its weight ranges from between 3,138 to 3,428 pounds. The V6 engine has been switched out for a 1.5 and 2.0 liter turbocharged engine, and the wheelbase is between 114-187 pounds lighter.

The car also has a smaller battery and noticeably tighter steering. The 4-door Front Wheel Drive sedan can seat up to 5 passengers, and it has more rear seat room and larger trunk space. The driver’s seat has been lowered, and the console is large enough to hold beverage cups and other smaller items. Its interior is more spacious than other cars in its category, and its body is slightly smaller than its other versions.

One of the car’s other features is its 4G LTE WiFi connectivity system that is Bluetooth-compatable. It also has an app that allows for turning a smartphone into a remote control, as well as an 8-inch screen for entertainment and informational purposes. This type of technology is ideal for those who like to have access to it while on the go.

Because it has a 1.5 liter turbocharged engine, it gets about 30 mpg when driven in the city, and around 38 mpg on the highway. It provides the driver with smooth handling and a sporty appeal, so it’s a lot more fun to drive. And the Sports version of it also has a manual transmission of up to 6-speeds.

This new Honda Accord Hybrid vehicle also has standard LED headlights and a larger grille. Although its exterior is more solid than other Hondas, the whole body of the car is a little smaller, but the interior has slightly more space. And the engine has good horsepower, with 273 lbs. of torque on its stick shift versions.

With its sleek design and better driving capabilities, as well as its economically-friendly fuel system, this car has been said to be a very fun car to drive. And its price starts as low as $24,400.
