The All New 2019 Volkswagen Jetta

As a part of the the Detroit Auto Show, Volkswagen revealed the 2019 Volkswagen Jetta and the many improvements that buyers can expect it to have. The Jetta is Volkswagen’s staple entry-level sedan, succeeded by the Passat and CC, and remains as Volkswagen’s best selling vehicle.

The 2019 Jetta will come with an updated front fascia; updates to the grill, headlights, and hood. Additionally, chrome bits and creases have been added around the sedan in order to give it a more distinct and bold appearance.

The interior of the 2019 Jetta will be brightened with ambient lighting and a LCD instrument cluster. Volkswagen’s Digital Cockpit will be offered as an optional package on the Jetta. The dashboard of the new Jetta will contain a Volkswagen MIB II infotainment system, which will pair smoothly with the interfaces that are already available to the current Volkswagen Jetta.

The 2019 Jetta will be supported by Volkswagen’s Modularer Querbaukasten, or MQB,platform. The suspension of the 2019 Jetta will feature a longer and wider wheelbase than the previous generation of Volkswagen Jettas; specifically gaining 1.3 inches in length and 1 inch in width. The new generation of Jettas will incorporate many driver-assist tools such as brake assist, adaptive cruise control, and blind spot monitoring.

Starting at $18.545, this seventh generation of Jetta will be cheaper than its 2018 predecessor.
