Different brands of electric vehicles have different EPA ratings. Nissan LEAF uses 30 kWh per 100 miles. A Tesla S 6oD uses 32 kWh per 100 miles since it is more massive and powerful than LEAF. Currently, the Chevrolet Bolt is the most efficient car, with 28 kWh per 100 miles. The cost of electricity through different states varies, but on average it costs $2-$4 to fully charge an electric car, which will last for 100 miles.

The gasoline costs in the future may rise considerably as they have done in the past, while the cost of electricity is generally stable. Electric cars are a safer and cleaner solution to travelling.
