Mercedes boosts off-road prowess of 2019 G-Wagon

Mercedes-Benz is a brand that speaks for itself. When you think of Mercedes, you think of luxury, class, and timelessness. Whether you are a car enthusiast or not, there is exciting news in the world of Mercedes. Mercedes is rolling out a new model for the 2019 line up; the 2019 Mercedes G550.

The G-Wagon has been a go to choice for off-roaders far and wide since its debut in 1979. This wagon attracts attention from the very first glance as a boxy powerhouse that can do some serious damage off-road. The 2019 G-Wagon will definitely not disappoint. The major difference in this new model is the new independent front suspension. Previously, Mercedes used a solid axle in front. In addition to the 10.6 inch front clearance, The G 550 has increased climbing ability, water fording depth, and breakover and departure angles. It doesn’t get much better than that!

Here are some more interesting specs for the 2019 G Wagon;

4 Liter Turbocharged V8
416 Hp
450 lb-ft of Torque
9 Speed Automatic Transmission

The standard features remain from the previous model and adds driver assistance systems and LED headlights.

With all of the great things to see about the new G Wagon, if you aren’t an avid off-roader, you may just become one after this awesome purchase.
