Polestar Awaiting Approval

Polestar is an automobile company based in Sweden that handles performance cars for Volvo. Recently debuting their first official model, Polestar has stated that they will begin to take deposits on this vehicle to the tune of about $3,000.

With deliveries beginning in 2019 the hype for the Polestar 1 is real. The company states that it has received interest from over 6,000 clients, and plans to produce around 500 vehicles per year. With interest coming from thousands of people they may have underestimated themselves, but fear not because the company has said that they will bump up production if the demand is necessary. The flagship vehicle comes in as a coupe with 600 horsepower and over 90 miles of electric capability. Polestar also said that they do have future plans of a Polestar 2, and 3 both of which would be fully electric as well.

Overall, Polestar is about to put their money where their mouth is. In the coming weeks you will be able to put a down payment on one of these vehicles, and that will be the true test to see how many people are actually interested in purchasing a Polestar. Hopes is that the demand is high, and the production will take a bump.
