Real men don’t drive Green Cars?

Green cars are becoming the thing of the future. Green cars essentially are vehicles that reduce the amount of emissions that are produced. Traditional cars run on fuel, which is burned and therefore powers the engine. This process is what occurs in most vehicles on the market. However, the burning of fuel produces harmful emissions that are detrimental to the environment. To cut back on emissions and save fuel, companies have taken to create cars that run on something other that gas. There are three main types of Green cars. The first is an E85 powered cars that run on ethanol produced from corn. Often times, these cars still have a tank for regular gas. The next type is a semi electric car. These cars run on gas but also have the ability to run on an electric charged battery. The final type is an electric only car. These cars run solely on electricity, and often have a range of about 200-300 miles on a single charge. So with these cars becoming so popular, what do people think about them? There have been numerous statements claiming that real men don’t drive green cars. All in all, its really about personal preference. For example, if you are someone who is into the loud, fast, muscle cars, then green cars aren’t for you. Green cars do not provide the power output that traditional cars do. However, if you are someone who isn’t always revving up your engine to impress others, then green cars may be good for you. In fact, they are actually becoming quite advanced in todays world. There are some pretty sleek looking electric cars on the market that would definitely catch the eyes of others. Simply stating that real men don’t drive green cars, is quite far from reality.
