What are green cars?
The future is vehicles is causing drastic changes to them. Some cars feature new aspects that have never been seen before on cars. One of the popular terms today pertaining to cars is the term ‘green cars’. The problem is, may people do not know exactly what this means. Essentially, green cars are vehicles that are better for the environment than the traditional vehicle. Emissions are the waste that is exerted from your vehicle due to the burning of fuel. There are cars on the market today, that claim to have little to no emissions. There are a few different kinds of green cars. The first is a partially electric vehicle. These vehicles run on electricity as well as gas. The goal of this is to essentially run on electricity as much as possible, therefore reducing the burning and use of fuel. The nest type of green car is a fully electric vehicle. These vehicles have totally gotten rid of the use of gas. They run solely on the use of a charged battery found within the car. Fully electric cars have a range of about 200-300 miles on a single charge. The final type of green car is one that uses a different type of fuel. Some of these cars use what is called E85 flex-fuel. The fuel is somehow derived from corn biomass. Using it in your vehicle allegedly reduces emissions. However the idea was great, it hasn’t become extremely popular over the years. Green cars are a thing of the future, and these are just a few types.
