Why buy Green?

Three Benefits of Going Green When Buying A Family Car, Used or Otherwise

Are you excited and passionate about saving mother earth? Well going green does not only apply to the way you buy your groceries. Going green applies to the way you buy your cars too. Below you will find 3 great ways to stay green and get the family car you desire all in one trip.

1) You do not have to have your heart set on a new car to help save the earth. You can buy a used car and still achieve the same goals. How many kids do you have? Two? Three? More? You may have your heart set on a wagon or family-sized SUV. Buying a big family car will help you stick to a budget and keep things green at the same time.

Make a list of your favorite cars out right now. Go through the classified ads and look for last year’s model or the years prior. You will be amazed at what you can find and at half the price.

2) Some of you like hybrids? Did you know that a hybrid can guzzle down at least $1,000 gallons of gas in one sitting? This is before they get off the showroom floor. You may want to consider something like a 90’s Dodge Coltor a Toyota Tercel. They may be a bit older, but they have better fuel-efficiency than the new models. Hybrids tend to only look good on paper and nothing more.

3) You may want to consider buying an actual “green car”. There are plenty on the market to choose from. They get made fun of a lot, but they have the efficiency you need. Electric cars are becoming more popular by the day. Many speculate that electric cars will be the cars of the future, the near future.
