Why Concrete is Killing Our Planet

Self-driving cars are going to change the world. We will forever be able to not have to drive ourselves everywhere when they come out with more models. But you see, concrete is the new item that has to go, besides fossil fuel-related, gas guzzling cars. Self-driving cars depend on law making specific choices to allow them. Cars are necessary to get away from the concrete and into the forest, whether you use a self-driving car or not. Cars are a necessary evil in the modern world. We humans use them to get around as necessary.

A car is helpful to have. But more importantly, are we using concrete too much? Self-driving cars made as an electric car could change the environmental damage we have for the better. The Earth is constantly fending off environmental pollution. To make a dent in our problem, to fix the pollution problems, this would be amazing. Automated vehicles are said to reduce energy used by transportation, by at least 90%. This is why inventors just have to keep releasing their new inventions into the market. The Department of Energy doesn’t necessarily make the rules for automated cars and how they have to function on the road in a way that benefits the most people.

Car automation could increase the miles driven by American cars. But car automation also has benefits for disable people who need to get somewhere, without being able to drive themselves to where they need to be. More people live in cities rather than rural areas, so it will be difficult to get people to move to the big city after a certain point if they enjoy not being around so much concrete. Concrete is a form of pollution by itself, given that it surrounds us, and falling on it is painful. However, automated cars can get a person into nature if they want to get away from concrete.
